Efficiency improvements for self-priming centrifugal pumps type SM

With the revision of the SM series SM 32-10, SM 32-13, SM 50-13 and SM 80-13, Schmalenberger is setting a new milestone in the field of self-priming centrifugal pumps.

The multi functional SM pumps have already been able to score points in the past thanks to their space-saving, compact design and are also available with standard motors. Now the first four of seven sizes have been reworked and substantially optimised. The efficiencies have been improved up to 12 percent. In addition, up to 50 percent larger solids can now be handled. Also the noise level in the suction process could be significantly reduced. The excellent suction and delivery characteristics and the low operating costs due to the high efficiency make these pumps an important component in a supply or return pump system.
